Humper, it looked like the tattooist had started shading in blue on the tail - when I had my last piece done the guy did a load of shading in grey in the same session as the linework. I like the design, Japanese artwork always suits tattoos well for some reason.

Low carb...............high protein diet
by vitty inok so now im more confused than ever.................... i have found out information that says you should eat 1gram of protein to every lb you weigh...............ok i can do that , i thought.
4oz--100gram chicken breast, thats not a lot, but that is not how its calculated .
100 grams of chicken is only 14 g protein.. so if i ate only chicken for a day say 10oz--300 gram................= 1,120 calories ( my limit ) its only 42 grams of protein.. can anyone explain it, have i got it wrong .

I lost alot of weight with Atkins and put it all back on, same with WeightWatchers and Clare has had similar results with Slimming World. It's obvious that if you lose the weight and then go back to eating shit, not exercising and drinking too much then you will stack the weight back on.
I'm just starting to get back into cycling to work, a 15 mile trip each way. I'm hoping that with that and a little less chocolate and beer and I will gradually have success.
At 5'9" and 210 I am carrying alot of extra weight at the moment.

Humper, nice tattoo. It looks like you have had a little colour added to the tail of the fish, or is is a coverup? Are you going to keep it as linework or are you going to have it filled with colour?

If you are prepared to really feel some emotion then I suggest a piece of Classical music - Barber's Adagio for Strings.
LT Roméo Dallaire, the Un commander in Rwanda called the piece "the purest expression in music of the suffering, mutilation, rape and murder of 800,000 Rwandans"

I may go and see it purely because I loved 28 days later and Trainspotting, I love the sense of tension he manages to create.
I saw Breakfast On Pluto at an outdoor cinema here in Perth when they were doing an arts festival and alongside Cillian Murphy was Liam Neeson. Fantastic film with a very bizarre storyline but good fun.
I really fancy watching Disturbia, I had free tickets to go and see it last Sunday but we were busy; Has anyone seen it yet?
I've watched a couple of Shane Meadows films over the last couple of days - This is England and Dead Mans Shoes. I cannot recommend Dead Mans Shoes enough, it is one of the best films I have seen in a long time and gave me some serious flashbacks of how I lived in my early 20's. This Is England is a very good film which tackles some very interesting themes and whilst the film was based in 1983 it could have easily been today and I regularly talk to people with some pretty shocking opinions regarding immigration and race. Crumpet, you would love This is England, it's a shocking film but the way it is handled and the message it sends is one that I am sure you would appreciate.

the funniest tat I have ever seen was on the soles of a guy's feet.
The shop where I had my first 3 done would tattoo you anywhere for free if you would sit through having the lord's prayer tattoo'd on the sole of one foot. This one guy gave it a try and got through the first two lines, he couldn't stand the pain and left it uncompleted.

then I met my wife and decided it was time to get the swallow covered. I made a huge mistake here and rushed the job, I also knew nothing about coverups and picked an "artist" who as a complete cock. This is my only tattoo I am really unhappy with and if I ever have a spare couple of thousand I will get laser removal to the point where I can have a new, big tatt placed on the skin in it's current position.
A couple of years ago before I left the UK I went into a tatt parlour just to browse through the pictures and got chatting to the artist in there. I fancied getting my rose covered but wasn't sure what with. I ended up with Dragon number 2. It was 8 hours work - 4 hours of line work and then a month for it to heal and a further 4 hours of shading and colouring. My shoulder went numbe after 20 minutes and I spent the time watching a rap DVD which completely took my mind off the tatt. I love it and my next piece will be a back job, something based on the sun to reflect my Cornish celtic roots.
Whatever you get, make it something original and meaningful.

then I got my first dragon on my left forearm when I was 21
the only bit that hurt was right on the boney bit of my wrist.
I'm now a software consultant and I occassionally get interesting comments and looks but I manage to disarm with my strident wit and boundless charm

When I was young and stupid I had these two tattoos done. I was 18 and the swallow originally had my fiance's name on it above mine
The only bit that hurt was the ends of the swallows tail and wings
